Helpful tip for successfully completing an Insanity workout: Do NOT eat half a pan of Tator Tot Hotdish at lunch if you plan to work out right after work. John found this out the hard way.
After the last couple of days of working out had left my body (and my ego) feeling bruised and battered, today's workout was just what I needed! The DVD is called Cardio Recovery, but I think it would be more appropriately titled Mental Recovery. I was so glad to actually be able to keep up with most of these exercises. There were some instances when I just had to take a break (my body can only hold the squat position for so long right now), but I felt like I got a great work out and I didn't feel like I was going to pass out in the process! Yay for me!
I know tomorrow is going to be rough. The DVD is titled Pure Cardio....I think that says it all. Yesterday I somehow mustered up the energy to clean the whole house AND prepare and feed my kids dinner (John was not yet feeling up to eating dinner with the family after his lunch incident) so for today, I am going to bask in my good feelings and mentally prepare myself for the challenge I am about to face tomorrow!
Bring on Day 5!!
